Imago Signs Distribution Agreement with Luidia Inc. for Interactive eBeam Technology.
Imago Group plc, Europe’s largest video communications distributor, has announced a new, exclusive distribution agreement with Luidia Inc., the creator of interactive eBeam® technology that helps the world capture and share content. The two companies will be working together closely in the UK to develop opportunities in both the business and the education sectors.
Products leveraging interactive eBeam technology deliver whiteboard functionality without the need for a traditional interactive whiteboard. Users can create, capture and deliver content in an engaging way. One product, eBeam Edge Projection, combined with a projector, transforms any flat surface into a collaborative display area, with the ability to turn content into a digital file which can be saved and shared. In business meetings for example, files displayed from a laptop via a projector, can be marked up or interacted with via the ‘virtual’ whiteboard, and saved together. The eBeam software combines more than 10 multimedia and navigation tools in one console, which allows users to control everything on the computer from the board itself.
Because products built with eBeam technology require less hardware, they are up to 50 percent less expensive than traditional interactive whiteboards, yet offer the same level of quality and functionality. They are also highly portable and flexible, making them effective in both small cubicles or large training rooms.
